Welcome to church

We want church to be a safe & welcoming place where your entire family is encouraged to draw ever-closer in their daily walk with Jesus Christ. At NewSong, we know that visiting a new church can be intimidating and want to you feel comfortable and welcome when the second you walk through the doors. We are entering a new season of ministry with our recent move to the Hudson community. We are currently meeting in the Hudson Optimist Clubhouse on Sunday mornings. Upon your arrival, our Welcome Team will greet you with smiling faces and joyful hearts and gladly share a brief overview of our new host facilities to help prepare you for our Encounter Worship service. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a bottle of water and a variety of breakfast treats with us from our HeBrews Café as you and your family arrive at NewSong! We pray your worship experience will be life transforming, and that after arriving as our special guest, you will leave as our new friends in Christ Jesus!

Clothes! But seriously, Christ welcomes all to His house to worship as they are and so do we. We typically dress casually at NewSong and encourage you to feel free to wear clothing that represents your desire to present yourself before God on Sunday mornings in corporate worship. For some that means wearing casual clothing, such as jeans and shirts, for some business casual attire and for others it may entail dress pants, shirts and ties, and dresses. It’s completely up to you! Let modesty and respectfulness be your guide as the Lord leads.

The worship music at NewSong is primarily contemporary worship songs by some of your favorite contemporary Christian artists, along with occasional hymns of the church that may have been modernized in musical style. Understanding that the primary purpose of worship is to adore and love the Lord, our worship music is prayerfully chosen with Biblically-based lyrics that do just that. The drummers, guitarists, pianists, and singers strive to use their gifts to with excellence as together we seek to bring honor, praise and glory to the audience of One – Christ Jesus!

Whether you have attended church your whole life or you are visiting for the first time, we are so honored to have you and your family join us at NewSong. We want you to know that no matter what you’re carrying in life, you are welcome at NewSong. We want everyone who enters the doors to know that they are loved first by God Himself, and then by our church family. We look forward to humbly meeting you and, should the opportunity arise, sharing some of our life journey North experiences together! You may decide that NewSong is a faith community where you and your family feel led to journey alongside. So just check us out closely, ask questions, participate with us in as many elements of the ministry of this church and prayerfully seek God’s guidance.

What should I expect?

Our Sunday morning services start with a gracious smile and warm greeting by members of our Welcome Team. They gladly help answer any initial questions you may have and give you a short overview of our campus facilities to include our HeBrews Café, our Children & Youth’s ministry areas, and our sanctuary layout. As our service begins, our pastor shares a warm welcome to everyone joining us both in-person and those joining us via our LIVE stream. A mix of video and live praise time led by our gifted Worship Team members ushers us into an encounter with our risen Lord and Savior. Worship continues through offering & prayer followed by an invitation to our young people to attend Kid’s Church. A mix of video and creatively-prepared visual aids leads us through a Biblically-engaging time in God’s Word shared by our pastor, Energized in the Spirit and God’s Holy Word, everyone is dismissed to re-enter the mission fields in and beyond our community as the Holy Spirit leads!
